A stone-and-shingle family home set back on a wide lawn under a clear sky

Every door covered, nothing duplicated.

Assumbl helps you choose a complete home security system — cameras, sensors, locks, hub, and monitoring — sized for your home instead of sold as a bundle.

Free to use. Currently in beta — Home Security is one of our two first categories.

How it works

Many homeowners report spending 10 to 20 hours researching a security setup. We built Assumbl to get you there in minutes.

Step 1: Tell us about your home

A 5-7 minute questionnaire covers your home layout, what you want to protect, and your budget. No technical knowledge needed.

No signup required to start

Step 2: We match the pieces

Our system compares your answers against product specs and compatibility rules, so the cameras, sensors, and hub you get actually work together.

Step 3: Review your system

You get a complete recommendation with plain-English explanations of why each product fits, plus links to buy from established retailers.

What a complete system includes

Most setups combine a few of these. Which ones you need, and how many, depends on your home and what you want to protect.

Cameras

Indoor and outdoor coverage for entries and key areas, matched to your Wi-Fi setup and how you want footage stored.

Video doorbell

See and talk to whoever is at the door. Wired or battery depends on your existing doorbell wiring.

Entry sensors

Small contacts on doors and windows that trigger the alarm. The count depends on your home's layout, not a package deal.

Smart locks

Keyless entry and remote locking. Needs to match both your door hardware and the rest of your system.

Hub and app

The piece that ties everything together, so you manage one app instead of five. This is where most compatibility mistakes happen.

Monitoring

Self-monitored (free, alerts to your phone) or professional (monthly fee, someone calls for help). We explain the trade-off for your situation.

What we check before recommending

Around 23% of purchased systems turn out incompatible or poorly sized. These four checks are how we avoid that.

Compatibility

Every recommended product works with the hub and app in your system. No orphan devices that need their own app.

Right sizing

A two-bedroom apartment doesn't need twelve sensors. We match the device count to your home's actual layout and entry points.

Total cost, upfront

Hardware price plus any monthly fees, stated plainly. Some systems look cheap until the subscription shows up.

Installation effort

We flag what you can install yourself in an afternoon and what realistically needs a professional.

Where we're headed

Home security is one of the two systems we cover today. More complex home systems are on the roadmap.

For security brands and retailers

Assumbl sends you shoppers who already know what they need. Here is what that means in practice.

High-intent traffic

Visitors describe their home, what they want to protect, and their budget before they see a single product. The clicks you receive come from people who have already invested time in their decision.

Better matching

Recommendations are based on real requirements — home layout, budget, technical comfort — so your products reach the customers they were built for.

Transparent tracking

We work through standard affiliate networks, with tracking and attribution you can verify on your side.

Work with us

Two fields, that's it. Sending opens your email app with the message ready — we'll take a look at your catalog and get back to you.

Affiliate disclosure

Assumbl is free for you to use. When you buy a product through links on our site, we may earn a commission from the retailer or manufacturer, at no extra cost to you. Our recommendations follow how well products match your needs. When products are otherwise comparable, we may give a slight edge to one we can earn a commission on.
